Our Team
Risheh Design Studio was founded by Tara Khazai in 2019. We are a small business, certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise, practicing in Calgary and the surrounding area. Our design experience spans a variety of project types and scales.
We believe that the natural environment a person experiences day to day is of the greatest importance to his or her mental and physical health and well-being. Particularly in a city, green spaces are critical for the microclimates they create, the oases they provide within the built environment, and their therapeutic value.
Tara Khazai
Principal | Landscape Designer
Tara possesses a broad interest and understanding of landscape architecture, architecture and landscape lighting design. She guides the team through the concept design, phasing, design coordination, and preparation of design and deliverables.
Sia Kzi
Consultant
Sia has a wide breadth of experience in marketing, IT, and business administration. He is a detail-oriented problem solver, with a particular interest working on digital marketing, branding and client negotiation.
Vahid Yavari
Project & Accounting Manager
Vahid has 15 years of experience as a project manager and estimator. With his background in civil engineering and project management, he is supporting the team with time and cost management and assuring all projects being constructed according to the codes and within time and budget schedule.
